The Ashiestiel beat is located upstream of Caddonfoot on the upper Tweed, opposite Nest and above Peel.
Ashiestiel offers two miles of fishing from the right bank for up to six rods. The beat is split into three sub-beats, with pairs of anglers taking it in turns to fish each throughout the day. Anglers have access to a fishing hut.
There is one boatman, Dave Prentice, employed on the beat during the autumn.
