Carham

Carham, River Tweed

Carham offers a mile of double-bank fishing for three rods on the lower Tweed, approximately half way between Kelso and Coldstream, with a five-year average catch of 168 salmon and 27 sea-trout.  The Border runs down the middle of the beat, so fish can be caught in both Scotland and England. The beat is always let as a 3 rod whole.  £200 - £700.

The modern fishing hut has a good wood-burning stove.  Two ghillies are provided during the best of the Autumn fly-only period from 15th September to mid-October, with one ghillie at other times.  A second ghillie is normally available to be pre-booked.

Bookings can only be made through the proprietors - all enquiries are welcome.
