Drygrange

Drygrange, River Tweed

The Drygrange Fishings comprise the Leaderfoot Pool, just downstream of Melrose.

Drygrange can be fished from either bank and maintains a policy of fly fishing only throughout the entire season, this being fully supported by the Spring and Summer syndicate.

There is access to a fishing hut which is equipped with a kettle and gas heating and its own parking facilities.

The beat is very much a wading beat as there is no access to a boat.  However, the Wheely Boat can be used for disabled anglers.  The wading is reasonable, but great care is always essential.
