Lower Pavilion offers double bank salmon fishing on over two miles of river. The beat normally fishes six rods as three two-rod beats which rotate at lunch time each day. During July and August only four rods will be let.
The beat and fishing hut is accessed from the village of Gattonside. The fishing hut over looks the river and has a good parking area. Facilities include a cooking area with seating for up to 10 and both male and female WC's.
Access across the beat and pools is possible by vehicle, or on foot.
