The Tweed Foundation and River Tweed Commission to Exhibit at Border Union Show

The Tweed Foundation and River Tweed Commission are pleased to announce their participation at this year’s Border Union Show, taking place on Friday 25th and Saturday 26th July. The organisations will be based at Block 1, Stand 8, alongside our friends, the Tweed Forum.

This year’s theme from the Tweed Foundation focuses on collaborative conservation and education across the River Tweed catchment. Visitors of all ages are invited to explore a vibrant and interactive stand, with a range of displays and activities designed to highlight the breadth of work being carried out to protect and celebrate the Tweed.

Exhibition highlights include:

  • Updates on the new habitat restoration project
  • Live demonstrations from TweedStart Young Ambassadors, including fly tying
  • Badge making activities for children
  • Tackling Invasive Non-Native Species (INNS)
  • Displays of local invertebrates and native fish species

The Tweed Foundation and River Tweed Commission are committed to protecting the ecological health of the Tweed while encouraging future generations to get involved in its care. The Border Union Show provides a fantastic opportunity to engage with the public, share knowledge, and inspire action.
