What's in Store:
Beginners will receive tuition and guidance to navigate their first cast and experienced anglers can fine-tune their skills whilst casting a line for salmon and sea trout amidst the river's flow. Enjoy a satisfying lunch to refuel your energy as you soak in the scenery of the Scottish countryside.
Friday, May 31st, at Tweedswood beat, where 1.3 miles of double bank middle tweed fishing near Melrose awaits. The beat are winners of the Best Fishing Hut Award at the River Tweed Fishing Awards and the Bemersyde Junior Trophy.
Saturday, June 1st, venture on to Carham Beat located on the lower river, between Kelso and Coldstream for one mile of double-bank fishing, for both novices and experts to enjoy. Head ghillie, Lee Craig is the winner of Boatman of the Year at the River Tweed Fishing Awards and the beat has won the Bemersyde Adult Trophy.
Friday and Saturday July 12th and 13th explore Boathouse and Canny beat, immerse yourself in the beauty of the lower reaches of the river while forming lasting connections with fellow anglers. And what better way to cap off the day than with a BBQ, sharing stories and laughter under the open sky?
